Challenge
The end customer was bothered by a persistent odor in one of the newly renovated offices and could not determine the origin or cause.
Need: monitor air quality and odors

A POD sensor was installed in the office in question and after a one-week training period, we were able to detect the odor variation.
The generated readings allowed us to visualize in time the evolution of this odor variation associated with a formaldehyde peak in the air and to correlate it to the activation of the ventilation.
We could trace the fact that the ventilation ducts had been cleaned with a product containing this chemical compound.
